Recently, the vernacular media leadership from the Americas visited Waxhaw. Their purpose was to discuss long term strategies that will enable Latin Americans to take over their jobs. One of the tools that we discussed with them was the SPARK website. The articles, case histories, and product reviews are available anytime via the internet. However, we do not have the articles in Spanish or Portugese. As a stop gap, there are translation tools available through Google. But there is a downside to the literal translation of SPARK information into other languages. As an example, Google translates the article, "Man Taught by the Holy Spirit," as, "Man Taught by the Holy Alcohol." We hope to have a better translation solution in place before the transition to Latin American leadership is complete.
The SPARK team has had exciting times recently. We noticed
that the performance of the website was very slow. Wayne decided to move to
another hosting company, which introduced a number of new problems. It was
fun working through the issues, but one change request to the hosting company
was disasterous. Instead of doing what we requested, 
they
deleted our whole account. It took four days to get the site back up. I guess
we were due for some "character building." But the site is now back
up, and the response time is faster.
Recently, after looking at houses for several months, and not finding one that we really liked, we decided to go with a semi-custom built house. There is a Christian builder here, who has built a lot of houses in the area. We have purchased an acre of land (right), and he will begin building in a couple of weeks. We look forward to the time when we can invite you all to come and visit us (not at the same time, of course). Thank you to those who have been praying with us about housing.
