As we start the new year, we want to thank you for your prayers. We had a great time meeting with Christmas lights in San Marcosfamily and friends over the Christmas holidays. Our biggest suprise was to find out that our son, Andrew, joined the Navy, and will go to boot camp April 12. We also enjoyed the Christmas lights near our house in San Marcos.

Our SPARK team completed the first project, improving the accessibility of the SPARK website, within four days of the scheduled date. Feel free to take a look at it. Now we can move on to the next phase of improving the site. Karibuni house and snow

The weather here is similar to San Diego, but it gets cold for about three weeks. It snowed on two different occasions recently. I had to take a picture quick because most of the snow melted within a short amount of time. (This was the scene from our front porch). It did not snow at all last year.

We have had a lot of opportunities to meet people here. There is a group of 20-30 volunteers that meet for Saturday breakfast at a local restaurant, have a game night, and occasionally watch videos together. Some come here for a few weeks, but others are here long term. Two couples live within two houses of us.

Wayne at his deskFor those who are interested, there are two opportunities to learn how computers support Bible translation, and how you can get involved. At a Check-IT-Out conference, you can hear stories from the field, see the tools used and talk with IT missionaries. One conference is in Charlotte the end of March, and the other is in Silicone Valley mid-September. Learn more by clicking here.

Thank you for standing with us in prayer. Don't hesitate to share your prayer requests. We would to love hear from you as well.
